Walk(87) Cotgrave to Holme Pierrepont circular.

On April 3rd 2019 Steve Hargreaves led 11 Hikers members on the Cotgrave walk. Dist 7mi 3.5 hrs approx. Weather was bright, sunny and dry with a cool SE breeze. The walk began and ended at the Cotgrave Country Park. We walked into the park, picking up the towpath of the Grantham Canal to Bassingfield. From Holme Pierrepont Rectory, (lunch stop), we continued along the disused railway line, recently opened as a country walk to Cotgrave Country Park.
End of walk refreshments were  taken at Gunthorpe Bridge.
