On 5th June 2019 Steve Hargreaves Led 11 Hikers on the Manton Bay Rutland Water Walk 5 mi 3 hrs walk. The Ospreys had 4 chicks in/on the nest, the weather was warm dry and sunny for the whole walk. We welcomed a new Hikers Member to our group 'Keith Bullock' a recent member of the RU3A.
The Journey from the Ranger to our Rendezvous point of the Horse and Jockey @ 'Manton' is one of the longest we've ever undertaken but the views of Rutland Water and surrounding Countryside made it a walk to remember.
